Lee Woodward Counseling CenterAsian American Recovery Services, Inc. The goal of Lee Woodward Counseling Center for Women is to reduce the impact of substance abuse addiction and mental health disorders of all women, by implementing a harm reduction outpatient program with emphasis on CBT and/or DBT interventions. LWCC caters specifically to mothers and children, women of color, transgender individuals, women with co-occurring disorders and physical health problems. We are designed to meet the needs of women seeking non-residential treatment services by providing an environment that allows our clients to easily move throughout the desired phases of treatment. We offer daily childcare services from 9am – 12pm, while the women are in group and 5:30pm-8:00pm during the evening therapy groups, 3 days per week. The evening dinner therapy groups start at 6:00pm and end at 8:00pm, to accommodate those women who have obligations during the day, i.e. work, children, school, etc. Groups are: Monday (Parenting); Wednesday (Family Relationships); and Friday (Relapse Prevention).
