The PAES Program (Personal Assisted Employment Services) was created to move General Assistance (GA) recipients from dependency on public benefits to economic self-sufficiency. Our services are designed as an harm reduction strategy to stabilize PAES recipients who have alcohol, drug, mental health problems, are homeless, individuals at or below proverty level, as well as the dually diagnosed. PAES provides the following services:
- assessment and treatment planning
- individual and/or group counseling
- individual case management/tracking
- linkages to health, housing, human services
- acupuncture services
- bio-psycho-social education groups
- psychiatric consultation
- medication management
The PAES-Counseling Services Program coordinates client services, with the Redwood Center, BAART, Henry Olhaff, Treasure Island Walden House, the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Human Service. We also have direct linkages with a variety of culture or language specific organizations to refer our clients to that have special needs.
